Learning Lab: Crafting Your Social Media Strategy (Pre-Registration Required)
Social networks offer powerful ways to reach and engage potential clients, as well as identify trends in consumer behavior—but it can be a huge time-suck if you don’t have a clear path to follow. In this session, you will gain a better understanding of how to strategically use social media to grow your business, whitch networks are right for you and how to plan for results. You’ll start developing your own strategy to build your brand foundation and learn the steps of a tactical plan to increase your reach on an ongoing basis. You will leave with an action plan to launch or improve your business presence on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Participants should plan to bring their own laptops for this session to make updates along with the presenters. Mobile devices, including iPads, are not recommended for this session. Refunds are not offered for no-shows.

Gloria Lafont is the founder and president of Action Marketing Co., a Plantation, Florida-based marketing agency that focuses on helping distributors build premium positioning With nearly 30 years of experience, she has started, bought and sold a dozen businesses in the branding and marketing fields, including a distributor business. Lafont currently owns Action Marketing Co., which she founded 12 years ago. Lafont is supports education and the cultural arts in her community and regularly volunteers her time and donates marketing support to help other organizations grow in membership and revenue.
