Melanie Sibbitt founded her company together with her sister, Kim Sibbitt, in 1988, marketing a single product: The Doodle Mug. More than 30 years later, Melanie’s business, Two Crazy Ladies, has grown into a small, but mighty team of “crazy ladies” dedicated to making their customers experience fun, creative and memorable. Melanie is very involved in the promotional products industry, having served on the Ontario Chapter Board of the Promotional Products Professionals of Canada (PPPC), on the board of the Woman Entrepreneurs of Canada, and on the board of Friends of We Care, an organization that works to send children with disabilities to summer camp. She has also been nominated for the Woman Entrepreneurs of the Year Award and has received the PPPC Image Award. Melanie credits her success to perseverance, listening to her clients and surrounding herself with incredible people who have supported her throughout her journey. When her father passed in 2013, her team and some industry colleagues were there to support her while she healed. Without an incredible circle of family, friends, colleagues, suppliers and clients, the road to recovery could have been a bit longer.
