Overcome Price Wars: Add Value
2020 is here, and demands—now, more than ever— that promotional products companies add unique, creative and passionate value to the sales process. We must over-service our accounts, make clients' lives simpler, give them headache relief and take stress off their shoulders. We must anticipate their needs before they occur, and we must be seen by our clients as interactive partners (shoulder to shoulder) not transactional vendors (price-based and across the table ). Price is price, but value is the combination of price, plus goods/services, plus you. Learn how to navigate our loud and small attention-span world, and how to break through it; the imporance of value versus price selling and how to sell value; and how to aim for interactiev partners, not transactional vendors. Ryan T. Sauers has spent 25 years leading and/or consulting with printing, graphics, promotional and visual communications-related organizations. Sauers is president of the independent consulting firm, Sauers Consulting Strategies, founded in 2010. Key areas of focus of the firm include sales training, marketing strategy, personal branding, leadership development and organizational change. Sauers is a frequent national speaker and columnist, and has been recognized as one of the top 80 chief marketing officers in the world and achieved the top designation of Certified Marketing Executive through Sales and Marketing Executives International. Sauers is an adjunct university professor teaching leadership and communication courses to current and aspiring leaders. He is a Certified Myers Briggs, DiSC and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner—one of few in the United States to achieve all three rigorous certifications related to human communications, personality and behavior. Sauers is working on his doctoral degree in organizational leadership and hosts Marketing Matters, a radio show in Atlanta.
