Learning Lab: LinkedIn: Context Based Connections
Imagine receiving an invitation to an event that featured a host you didn’t know. Would you go? It happens on LinkedIn often; we invite people into our network with no context. In this session, Bill McCormick will demonstrate how to leverage LinkedIn to make more valued connections by understanding proper connection etiquette, utilizing scripts for several common connection scenarios, constructing a connection strategy, and learning ways to follow up with connections. Participants should plan on bringing their own laptop for this session to make updates along with the presenters. Mobile devices including iPads are not recommended for this session. Registration for a Learning Lab session also includes the opportunity to schedule one complimentary professional headshot while at Expo, participants will be notified by email for the available times prior to being at Expo.

Bill McCormick is co-owner of Team Creative Connections, and started in promotional products sales when he and his wife started their company in 2013. McCormick is passionate about the power of LinkedIn and combining that with the power of promotional products to help distributors find leads and generate sales. McCormick’s most recent venture is Digi-Sales, through which he helps sales professionals find leads and generate sales through live courses and online video courses.
